Lapwing Festival 2019 Launch

Tickets are now on sale for the fourth Lapwing Festival at Cuckmere Haven, in support of the campaign to save our iconic Coastguard Cottages. This year’s festival will again be held in a cosy, acoustic marquee with stunning views of the cottages, Cuckmere Valley and the white cliffs of the Seven Sisters.

Our line-up includes six outstanding artists:
Masayoshi Fujita, a mesmerising exponent of the vibraphone
Fran and Flora, “a string duo bound for glory.” (BBC Radio 3)
Sam Lee, a champion of folk song
Consone String Quartet, playing the music of Haydn, “a musical, emotional, stylistic and technical bullseye.” (The Strad)
Joseph Tawadros, an Egyptian-Australian virtuoso of the Oud
Anthony Albrecht, a Juilliard-trained cellist and our festival director
